Our mission is to promote positive law enforcement relationships within the community, to seek community support for law enforcement, to provide support for law enforcement families in need, and to encourage stronger relationships within law enforcement families.
Our Founder saw a need for a network of support for law enforcement spouses and significant others, and the idea for Badge Wives was born.
BadgeWives became a 501c3 and the founding board of directors and founding membership was established.
With over 60 members in four counties representing more than 14 agencies, we have been able to support many individuals and families. Our positive impact is felt not just by our members but by the law enforcement community as a whole.
Hosted our first conference for law enforcement spouses and officers entitled "Road to Resilliency for Law Enforcement Families."
When you join Badge Wives, you gain more than just community; you gain connection, support, and a sense of belonging with other women who understand the unique challenges of life alongside law enforcement. As a member, you'll have access to uplifting events, meaningful conversations, resources, and a safe space to share, heal, and thrive. It's about sisterhood, strength, and showing up for one another, because you don't have to navigate this journey alone.
Membership eligibility is open to spouses or significant others of current or retired law enforcement officers in the Tampa Bay area, current or retired female law enforcement officers and widows of fallen law enforcement officers. Non-LEO spouses can become supporters by being invited by an active member to the private "Supporters of Badge Wives" Facebook page.
Hosting seminars on resiliency, making care packages, providing financial assistance, award scholarships, sponsoring and hosting free events for law enforcement officers, partnering with other local agencies who support law enforcement officers and families.
